I’ve never played (or even watched) a single minute of any of the Fallout games so I wasn’t sure whether this was for me, but it was great! No foreknowledge required! Yet another retro-futuristic look, as we have come to expect these days the production values were superb. Yes, the show is super-gory but in a cartoony way. Plenty of twists and turns and clever interleaving of the two time periods. Neatly set up for season 2 but equally satisfying over just the first 8 episodes. Got to be 5 stars for this!
