Projects and Interests
I start lots of things, and have ideas in all sorts of directions, some of which I document in the pages here. Under the "Projects" menu you will find things I am currently working on; under "Interests" are things I have finished or information that I have collected
Reviews
I read a lot of books, watch films and TV shows and play the odd computer game. I like to make a few notes on all the media I consume so I thought it might be nice to share these with you. You may not agree with my assessments, but that is fine!

Book Reading Statistics
I began keeping notes of the books I had read in late January 2022. The annual total figures are subject to change if I find and enter more of my notes from previous years. Abandoned books tend to end up in the short review sections so are not included here. I'm now pretty conscientious about entering reviews into the website so recent figures are more reliable.
You will also find what I refer to as "retrospective reviews" which indicates books that I have read sometime before 2022 but still wanted to say something about.
I written full reviews of 60 books in 2025 and I have reviewed 8 so far in 2026.

All photographs are mine unless otherwise stated. Review images are mostly from bookstores or the originating TV network. Images are used for criticism only and no copyright violation is intended. Some artwork is generated by AI but this is clearly stated and where possible I have included the prompt used to generate it.
