Pylon Country
We are in a landscape of thinly scattered bushes and trees with sandy soil. Immediately in front of us a battered steampunk style cable car gondola hangs from the cables suspended between slender pylons. The cable car has large propellers at the front and back and appears to be entangled with one of the trees. People can be seen looking out of the windows of the cable car. Further pylons can be seen receding into the distance. Grey storm clouds fill the sky.

Not sure what happened to the requested propellors but otherwise I quite like this one. Pylon Country is a chapter and a minor incident in the Iain M Banks novel “Look to Windward”.
